Sunrise Paddle / Sep 8 / Wolastoq River

Join GTFO for an early morning adventure! Our amazing paddle guides will show you the side of the Wolastoq (Saint John) River you've been longing to explore. From the gentle morning waves, to the beautiful sunrise over the Keswick Islands, we know this river like the back of our hands.

We've got kayaks full of coffee from Rabbittown Coffee Co. and treats, and we'll meet you by the river at 645am. We will paddle from 7am to 830am, and get you off the water before the family even realizes you're gone.

The cost is 40$ and includes your boat rental, coffee, treats, and guide. Don't forget your coffee cup!

Those who are registered can meet at Second Nature Outdoors for 6:45AM (sharp)!

All participants must complete a waiver from Second Nature Outdoors before getting on the water.

Join us at NEW TIME 7PM for NEW instalment of our weekly Wednesday Walk Series! We will be visiting waterfalls around our beautiful city and region twice a month. On the 1st and 3rd Wednesday.

This week we will be heading to Howland Falls.

Make sure you bring clothes you don't mind getting a little wet, there will be time for a short swim.

Because of the limited parking we will be carpooling from Fredericton. Please meet at the Radical Edge on Westmorland at 630pm to arrange drives. We will start a carpool thread on the day of, please comment if you are able to provide drives.

Big Queer Canoe Trip / Aug 14 / Pride 2019

It's our favourite time of year and we want to GTFO with all of our Pride Pals. We've got a BIG canoe and we want you to paddle it with us.
It's big, and it holds you and 12 of your closest friends. If we have enough interest, we may add a second canoe!

Join us on the Wolastoq river for an evening paddle from Hartt Island RV Park to the Small Craft Aquatic Centre downtown.

6pm departure
Please arrive a few minutes early to get ready and suited up with a PFD and a paddle. Don't forget water and sunscreen!

No Man's Land Film Festival

For the second year in a row, GTFO Adventure Club is bringing No Man's Land Film Festival back to Fredericton! 

GTFO aims to bring together like-minded womxn and supporters of women in the outdoors to inspire confidence, gain capacity and create community through adventure. 

No Man's Land Film Festival kicks off a stacked winter season by featuring outdoor films produced by and/or featuring women that are guaranteed to get you itching for the outdoors. 

Showtime is at 7:30 p.m. and doors open at 7:00. 
General admission is $15. 

Proceeds from the event's ticket sales will go directly into 2019 GTFO programming...meaning, passed on to YOU!

The festival has a women's theme but all are welcome to attend!

GTFO TURNS 1 AND WE'RE CELEBRATING!

It's been one full year since we started having regular Wednesday Walks and have since spawned into the GTFO you know and love today! Come and help us celebrating this amazing community of women!

We had such a great turnout at our Spring Social that we're doing another one!

We will have a fire, cooking workshops and most importantly... CAKE! Along with other activities for you to enjoy. Come boogey with us!
